This converter allows Rabbit-based systems to be programmed via the USB (universal serial bus) port rather than directly from a serial port. This is necessary if your laptop or computer lacks a serial port. (Note: you will still need the serial programming cable.) This converter has been verified for operation with Dynamic C and the USB-compatible Windows operating systems: 98, 2000, XP, and ME.
